Florian Hauswiesner is the Managing Member of HAUSWIESNER LAW GROUP PLC and advises clients on corporate and international business law matters.  He heads our firm's corporate practice group and counsels domestic and multinational  clients on  matters such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance  (equity and debt financings), the formation of business entities, greenfield investments, employment matters, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, technology transactions and real estate matters. 

Mr. Hauswiesner counsels clients from diverse industries such as electronics manufacturing, medical, defense, IT, telecom, automotive, aerospace and e-commerce.

As the Special Counsel (Vertrauensanwalt) of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in the United States, he also counsels on a variety of international legal matters involving Austrian clients in the United States and governmental matters.

Prior to forming HAUSWIESNER LAW GROUP PLC, Mr. Hauswiesner had practiced in the areas of corporate, antitrust and international tax law for law firms in Europe and the United States. As such he worked on corporate transactions, international litigation proceedings as well as on matters dealing with OFAC, export control and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. 

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Hauswiesner served as a legislative assistant in the European Parliament (Brussels/Strasbourg) for Thomas Mann (MEP) and in the securities department of BNP Paribas (Frankfurt). He  is a frequent speaker on M&A and business law matters and has published numerous articles in law and business journals addressing legal issues related to FDI matters and cross-border legal matters.
